Hotel Bulwar

Hotel Bulwar is a family-run hotel respecting environement. Our Guests' wellbeing is our main concern.

In 2001, the former Raclawice Barracks were bought by the local family company, in order to adapt it to the hotel.
Together with the team of architects and designers, a project combining history and modern trends was developed.

The facility was divided into two parts – residential, historical part constructed in 1819 – 1822 and a service part built in 2008, with reception, hotel lobby, restaurant and conference rooms.

In the restaurant, club and underground car park, historic walls are preserved.

Due to its original function – military – the rooms are characterized by non-standard interior architecture, thick walls and subdued décor in earth colors, which distinguishes Hotel Bulwar from other modern hotels and adds a unique character to the interior.

The building is an integral part of the Old Town of Torun, UNESCO World Heritage site.
