Sport Arena (MAKiS)

Location: Sport Arena Łódź is a modern sports and entertainment venue located in the very center of Poland—in Łódź, near the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways. The facility is the newest part of the Łódź Sports Centre, a complex that also includes Atlas Arena and the Władysław Król Municipal Stadium, forming a cohesive ecosystem for events of various scales.

In the immediate vicinity (approx. a 2-minute walk) is the Łódź Kaliska railway station, providing convenient rail and bus connections. The city also has its own airport, and the proximity of Warsaw’s airport further enhances accessibility for international guests. Łódź’s central location allows for quick access from Poland’s largest cities—both by car and by train.

Architecture: Sport Arena is a modern, compact venue designed for hosting mid-scale sports, business, and event activities. The facility stands out for its flexible spatial layout and seating system, allowing the audience configuration to be adapted to the specific requirements of each event.

Infrastructure and functionality: The arena has been designed as a multifunctional space, enabling the organization of a wide variety of events—from sports competitions and conferences to corporate and cultural events. Organizers have access to:

• the main arena floor (2,052 m²) with a capacity of 1,500 people,
• a sports court measuring 54 × 38 m, with the option to divide it into training courts,
• fixed seating for 1,913 spectators, expandable to 2,801 thanks to retractable telescopic stands (an additional 888 seats),
• a flexible space arrangement system tailored to event needs,
• 3 conference rooms in theatre-style layouts (for 35, 52, and 80 people).

Additional services and amenities:
The venue offers parking for 85 cars, with the added advantage of direct access to the extensive parking infrastructure of the Łódź Sports Centre, significantly facilitating event logistics. For more intimate business meetings, 13 exclusive VIP boxes are available, including one presidential suite. Each skybox features a private entrance to the stands, ensuring comfort and privacy. Box rental includes the option of additional services such as catering and complimentary parking spaces.
